ABOUT ME

Hi, My name is Samantha!

I graduated from The Royal Veterinary College in 2017 with a degree in Bioveterinary Science, and it was here that I discovered my love for the world of animal training and behaviour.

Just before I started my career with dogs, my family and I re-homed our beautiful black Labrador called Coco. She is my first dog and will always hold a special place in my heart.

I started working professionally with dogs in 2018 for the UK's largest dog charity, Dogs Trust, as senior trainer in a dog class setting (Dogs Trust is also where we got Coco from!).  I later moved on to work for Guide Dogs for the Blind,  and when I left this job to set up my own business in May 2023, I also brought with me a withdrawn guide dog, now called Belle, who is now my fiance and mines little fur baby.

Since 2021, I have been an accredited dog trainer in the UK through The Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and I am also listed on the Animal Behaviour and Training Council's (ABTC) website. I am a Separation Anxiety Behaviour Consultant, specialising for those dogs who struggle to be left at home alone, and for those humans who feel stressed, frustrated, and at a loss of what to do about their dogs fear of being left alone.

I love working with dogs and their people! There is no one size fits all, for dogs or for people, so I strive to personalise the experience for everyone I work with.  Everything you do with your dog is a chance to have fun with them and strengthen your special bond.  Dogs bring such joy to this world. Lets enjoy the precious time we have with them.
